When one of my co-founders, Nina and I were discussing the content of the website, a close friend of mine was brought up. After I shared my friend’s story, Nina looked at me and said, “We have to honor her in some way.” I tried to compose this piece alone but found it extremely difficult, so I decided to invite some of her other friends to help me honor her. L’Rin was an amazing, selfless person. I was blessed to have known and loved her. I am even more blessed that she loved me! I doubt that I will ever meet another person like L’Rin! She was truly one of a kind! June 7th, 2014 marks one year since her passing. We are all still taking it, one day at a time. This is for you, L’Rin Elizabeth Wiley.
Rest Peacefully L’Rin! We Love You!

This is AMAZING…
Even though I know the history of the relationship between Christina and L’Rin, I feel like I’m taking it in for the first time. I know we have had several conversations about how she feels about friendship and now I know why she feels the way that she does. I encourage Christina to not look for the same friendship that L’Rin gave to you because you are not going to find it. Instead, take with you daily her memories and demonstrate the same type of friendship to others that she was able to demonstrate to you. Even if it is not distributed back to you in the way that she would. I wish I would have had the pleasure of merely meeting her if not able to share a friendship just due to the amazing friends that have displayed how much their lives were touched by her existence. I hope you all continue to grow and hold her memory in your hearts as dear as you do now.
This is so beautiful. I miss you L’rin! You were truly a wonderful daughter, friend, mommy.
God bless you all!
This just blessed my soul! I met L’rin when I was in elementary school, we lived on the same block and often walked back and forth between Churchill and James Hart together… I miss my friend. This was a beautiful tribute to her memory!
