Lucy Li is the most recent name that has shocked the sports industry. The 11 year old golfer became the youngest ever to qualify for the Women’s U.S. Open.
This golfing prodigy shot rounds of 74 and 68 during an event in California back in May. For those of you who aren’t familiar with golf, the average score per round is 48. This proves that Li is better than your average middle age golfer.
According to CNN, Li already has a victory at the world famous Augusta National under her belt, having won the inaugural Drive, Chip and Putt Championship at the Masters venue in April.
The U.S.Open, which is also known as the United States Open Championship, is an annual golf tournament. 33 year old Justin Rose won the Championship in 2013 after competing in golf for over 10 years.
Li’s success is just an eye opener that age does not play a factor in achieving any of your goals or reaching any of your dreams!
